Calistoga is a relaxing spa town in the heart of California wine country, known for its healing volcanic hot springs and delightful wines. A tranquil town settled at the base of Mt. St. Helena, Calistoga is about an hour from Napa up the Silverado Trail.

October is summer in California! Expect desert weather, with highs in the 80's, dry heat and tons of sunlight. Nights are chilly, dropping down to the 50's.

Oh and there's an imminent possibility of both El Nino torrential rains and sweeping forest fires ... What can we say, California is a magical place.

For Friday and Sunday, we know you're traveling far, so come as you are, or shower up and look sharp. You'll be warmly welcomed either way!

On Saturday, we recommend cocktail attire, such as suits for the guys and dresses for the gals. Running Pony Farm is elegant but rustic, so ladies may want to consider wearing wedges or chunky heels, as walking surfaces are a bit uneven.

All gatherings will be held outdoors, so we recommend bringing a light layer given the 30-degree temperature changes.

Airport - Wine Country Bus ~$34 each way (drops in downtown Napa)
The Sonoma County Airport is 30 minutes from Calistoga and features non-stop flights from Portland, Seattle and LA
